Troubleshooting Fetching Changes

If you see Error fetching changes in zone ... :client knowledge differs from server knowledge, try the steps below. For more information, see Troubleshooting iCloud Sync.


iOS/iPadOS

  1. Restart your device
  2. In Expenses, open Settings -> Sync
  3. Open Diagnostics and check whether there is any warning or error related to your current sync state
  4. Tap Force push all data to iCloud to make sure your data is in iCloud
  5. Delete the app and reinstall it
  6. In Expenses, open Settings -> Sync
  7. If needed, open Diagnostics again and confirm the warning is gone before continuing
  8. Tap Force fetch all data from iCloud

macOS

  1. Restart your Mac
  2. In Expenses, open Settings -> Sync
  3. Open Diagnostics and check whether there is any warning or error related to your current sync state
